Gnocchi love
Sometimes you just want cheap, tasty, Italian fare, and Zizzi's is exactly that: uncomplicated, straightforward Italian food for the I'm-hungry-need-food-now diner.
My cousin and I were peckish whilst on a pre-cinema date, and instead of sitting down in an over-priced - due to the tourism - restaurant, we quickly walked in to Zizzi's and were seated in minutes.
We weren't looking for an exciting menu, we were hungry and in need of filling, satisfying carbs and had somewhere to be, so Zizzi's it was.

Delicious garlic and rosemary potatoes
I ordered a very simple gnochhi and side of garlic potatoes. The spuds were delicious, and just what I wanted: garlicky to a point, dusted with cracked sea salt and garnished with fresh parsley, nice.
Now, the gnocchi is served with cheese and a rich tomato sauce, but I wasn't in the mood for cheesy anything, and thankfully, it was an absolute breeze asking them to leave it out.
We also shared some garlic bread, which was more like, sweet, garlic-infused dough that melted in the mouth.
For a no-fuss, cheap Italian meal, that serves decent Italian food, I know it's a chain, but it's good.
