The Circus Has Come to Town
The circus is in town. Zippos is coming to London this month, with acrobatics, the flying trapeze, magic acts, and much more.

Ring Leader, Norman Barrett MBE

Zippos has been voted Britain's best Circus. They do tours across Scotland, the Midlands, and the South. They have a troupe of circus champions from all over the world, and are hosted by the ring leader, Norman Barrett MBE.

Zippos takes all the traditional joys of the circus and brings its own contemporary twist, with hip-hopping acrobats, fire jugglers, and horses performing dressage to rock anthems.

This year they have recruited two French clowns with an 'engaging and youthful approach to comedy', and Norman Barrett also brings some laughs with his performing budgies.

To top it all off, there is a spectacular grand finale, where the troupe perform dangerous routines on motorbikes in the Globe of Death.

Their next performances are in Twickenham between the 20th-25th of September. The show lasts about two hours, and prices start from 6 for a child and 8 for an adult. For full details of dates and times, see their website.
