The world's largest children's choir is counting down to its 100th concert in Birmingham. Young Voices will be marking their centenary of performances with a special concert at bp pulse LIVE on the 27th February this year. The 100th concert will also mark 28 years of Young Voices shows at the arenas in Birmingham.
To celebrate the occasion, Young Voices and the NEC Group are on the hunt for stories from those who have been a part of this journey. The organisers are calling on parents, teachers, participants, NEC Group staff, and anyone else who has experienced the magic of Young Voices in Birmingham over the past 100 concerts to contribute their memories. The stories will be collected and used as part of the 100th concert celebrations.

In addition, the NEC Group are sponsoring two schools in Birmingham to take part in Young Voices 2025. As part of the sponsorship, the NEC Group will support the schools to take part in Young Voices and will also continue to fundraise for the schools for the next year.
Ben Lewis, CEO of Young Voices, said: “
Young Voices have been uniting thousands of children in song at some of the UK’s most prestigious venues for over two decades. Reaching the 100-concert mark in Birmingham is a testament to the enduring popularity and impact of these concerts.”

Jen Mitchell, NEC Group Arenas Managing Director, said: “
We’ve been hosting Young Voices since the 1990s and since then thousands of youngsters in the region have performed at our Arenas. One hundred concerts in Birmingham is an amazing achievement and we’re so proud to have been part of the Young Voices journey so far.”
For the past 28 years, Young Voices has staged the largest children’s choir concerts in the world, a yearly programme culminating in full-scale arena concerts with first class production values, where the children are the stars. Young Voices is designed to use music to develop 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, mindfulness, and innovation. More than 2.5 million children have taken part in Young Voices since 1996 and the UK tour in 2024 alone involved more than 202,000 children across 30 arena dates.
