£2.00 Community Classes @ Yoga Junction

I like to keep fit and healthy, eat well (ish) and am a member of slightly under-visited gym. A few friends of mine suggest that I take up yoga for its mix of physical and mental benefits, but I have always found it hard to take the plunge and go to a class.

A really great way to ease into this is the bargainous £2 community yoga sessions at Yoga Junction in Crouch End. The teachers are trainees but have completed the first part of the British Yoga Wheel course, meaning they know what they are doing.

When I went the class consisted of six students, so I got a great deal of help and attention from the teacher and was able to dip my toe into yoga without the pressure of a busy class. Half the group were under 30, half over 30 and there was a good male/female ratio.

The classes are Tuesdays 4.30-6.00pm and Thursdays 1.00-2.30pm and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who wants to try yoga before splashing out on a more expensive course.
