Sing it with me now:

%%It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.
It's fun to stay at the Y.M.C.A.%%

Despite the fact that The Village People's YMCA song is a gay celebration song and nothing to do with a kid's camp, when I used to go there over the holidays, I was always forced to sing it. I have no idea whether it is still a tradition there, but if your kids can endure it, the rest of their Easter Holiday should be a blast.

Between the 2nd - 12th April, the YMCA will be running three camps during the Easter holiday across Kingston and Wimbledon. As well as the usual mix of indoor games and outdoor sports, there will also be lots of fun trips to local attractions. There will be a chance to visit some monkeys, make pizza, and crack secret codes.

YMCA Hawker Centre
8.30am-5.30pm, Kingston, 020 8296 9747

The YMCA in Kingston has a big outdoor space for sports and creative projects. The camp is aimed at 4-8 year olds and will include a trip to to Woburn Safari Park and the Princess Diana Memorial Gardens .

YMCA Wimbledon
8.30am-6pm, Wimbledon, 07767 383 236

Aimed at 4-11 year olds there will be a range of activities to enjoy, including a trip to Pizza Hut and Battersea Zoo .

Space@Basement
8.30am-5.30pm, Basement Youth Cafe, Kingston, 020 8296 9747

If your kids are between 9-13 years old, then this camp will offer lots of daily outings were they can go iceskating, swimming, paintbaling, and explore London.
