The very first opened last weekend, and whilst there are numerous festive markets popping up all over Yorkshire, this is the first one of it's kind in Briggate.

, like most of the locally festive markets, has been set up by Leeds City Council. Leeds rich community, of diversity and culture is coming together for a memorable seventeen days. Right up until the 22nd of December, there will be a flurry of festive fun; entertainment will be held in a marquee, and will include food and drink demonstrations like cocktail classes and culture-specific delicacies.



Amongst the demos will be bake offs, performances, and of course, festive food. You'll find a mix of familiar Christmas eats like roasted meats food, and mulled wine, as well as arts and crafts stalls from local vendors.

Classic and not-so, gifts will be available too, so you can give both bespoke and more familiar treats at Christmas.
