The very first Winter Wonderleeds opened last weekend, and whilst there are numerous festive markets popping up all over Yorkshire, this is the first one of it's kind in Briggate.
Winter Wonderleeds, like most of the locally festive markets, has been set up by Leeds City Council. Leeds rich community, of diversity and culture is coming together for a memorable seventeen days. Right up until the 22nd of December, there will be a flurry of festive fun; entertainment will be held in a marquee, and will include food and drink demonstrations like cocktail classes and culture-specific delicacies.
Amongst the demos will be bake offs, performances, and of course, festive food. You'll find a mix of familiar Christmas eats like roasted meats food, and mulled wine, as well as arts and crafts stalls from local vendors.
Classic and not-so, gifts will be available too, so you can give both bespoke and more familiar treats at Christmas.
