Olympia's is now in its twenty-fourth year, and is a flagship event for both dealers and collectors. While most shows at the exhibition centre only last a weekend, here you will have the chance to browse for a whole week, from the 3rd - 9th November. Tickets can be bought at the door for £15, but you can get them cheaper online in advance for £13. If you want to get ahead of the crowds then you can also book a special collectors' preview ticket for £30.

The fair will feature over a hundred and twenty handpicked dealers, showcasing both the beautiful and the unusual. It is a great show for anyone who likes to mooch, whether you are a serious collector, interior designer, searching for a centrepiece item for the home, or just have an interest in really old stuff.

From seventeenth century English oak and nineteenth century continental furniture to paintings by Lowery and Munnings, you're sure to find something that will grasp your aesthetic eye.

If you have a particular interest in learning about the history of the items, then there is a programme of lectures that you can also attend. They will cover Ming China, Asiatic Themes, Victorian obsessions, and war. And if there is too much to get your head around, there will be daily tours to guide you round the highlights of the exhibition, or focus of specialist areas.
