Look out for the Wombles

Get out your calendar and note down 'family fun day' in the little box marked 22nd June, because, the Wimbledon Guild is holding their annual village fair on Wimbledon Common.
Traditional entertainment will include live music in the jazz tent, local school choirs, dance groups, and animal agility such as a dog show and horse show. Man's best friend won't be the only one if for a work out though. Throughout the day you will be able to participate in exercise groups or challenge yourself to an obstacle course. Feeling more adventurous? Why not try out water ball zorbing?
What is zorbing you ask? Good question; I didn't have a clue either at first, but after a few google searches, I finally found the answer. Zorbing is you plus a giant hamster ball. Is it becoming clearer now? Typically, a person will step inside a large transparent plastic ball and roll down a hill inside it, but on this occasion, you can also take to water, and paddle along the river.
After so much exertion, you'll probably be hungry, so head over for some scrumptious snacks at The International and British Food Village.
Oh, and don't forget to look out for Haydon, who will be Wombling around the AFC Wimbledon football club stall.
