Haven't found a date for Valentine's Day? Never fear, The London Eye is fast at hand to help. You've heard of speed dating, well this is 'wheel dating'. On the 28th February at 8.30pm, you and four hundred and ninety-nine other singletons will get all aboard on one of the Eye's thirty-two capsules for a truly unique experience. Each capsule will be hosting a special activity, which will be randomly selected for you.
Perhaps you'll land in the karaoke pod accompanied by KaraUke's nine-piece ukulele band, silly wigs, and daft props. Maybe you'll be limbering up your wrists in an all-mighty Pongathon or table football competition. Then again you might be transported to Rick's Casablanca bar. The recreated World War Two era cafe will feature period booze and Moroccan snacks. And since this is quite a humorous idea, another capsule will be dedicated to the Comedy Store with stand up sets from top comedians.
If you love surprises or simply can't make up your mind on what you want to do, The Wheel of Date will give you the ride of your life and several dates to remember. Tickets cost £49 and include an after-spin party at The Old Vic and three month subscription to Do Something.
