The Lichfield Garrick theatre in Staffordshire has launched its brand-new season of music, drama and comedy, showcasing an amazing line-up of live stage shows as part of its programme for the next six months. The award-winning arts venue and charity has added more than 20 new shows to its already impressive line-up, including West End musicals, top-tier comedians, and fun for all the family.

Music lovers will be tapping their toes and clapping their hands at the incredible selection of musicians, including fan favourites The Opera Boys , rock icons Voodoo Room, and the excellent Eddi Reader , former lead singer of Fairground Attraction. They will be supported by some of the finest tribute artists and shows in the country including the likes of The Magic of Motown, Nearly Elton, Arrival: The Hits of ABBA, and And Finally... Phil Collins.

Other famous faces waiting to grace the Garrick stage include Royal Historian and broadcaster Tracy Borman and hilarious comedian Andy Hamilton. Top drama can be seen in the form of the world-renowned musical, Blood Brothers, which comes to Lichfield direct from the West End, while family audiences will surely enjoy the hilarious La Navet Bête who return with Dracula: The Bloody Truth following the success of their previous show, Treasure Island. Audiences of all ages can also get to see the critically acclaimed dance troupe Motionhouse, with a dance-circus 'adventure' called Nobody, while children will be equally entertained by dinosaurs with Jurassic Earth and wild animals in Animals Unleashed, plus a load of favourite storybook characters leaping from screen to stage in Milkshake! Live. Although not part of the current season, children and adults alike will want to book early for the annual Garrick pantomime which, this year, sees the return of Lichfield's favourite Dame, Sam Rabone, back in a frock for Beauty & the Beast.
