New musical set to hits by Sir Tom Jones
Birmingham Repertory Theatre will host the world premiere of the new musical What's New Pussycat? which brings together the 18th century classic novel Tom Jones with hits by Welsh superstar singer Sir Tom Jones.

Taking to the stage on October 8 to November 14, the show features a string of much-loved songs including Green, Green Grass of Home, It's Not Unusual, Leave Your Hat On, Delilah, Mama Told Me Not To Come, Sex Bomb and What's New Pussycat?

Written by the Tony Award winning Joe DiPietro, the musical moves Henry Fielding's comic hero Tom Jones from 18th century England to London in the swinging sixties.

Cast for What's New Pussycat?

The show is directed by Luke Sheppard, whose & Juliet has won three Olivier Awards and six WhatsOnStage Awards, and choreographed by Dame Arlene Phillips, former judge on the hit television series Strictly Come Dancing. The cast will include Dominic Andersen as Sir Tom Jones, Bronté Barbé as Mary Western, Ashley Campbell as Mr Partridge, Julius D'Silva as Lord Allworthy, Rebekah Hinds as The Girl in the Polka Dot Dress, Harry Kershaw as William Blifil, Kelly Price as Lady Bellaston and Melanie Walters as Mrs Western.
