A photograph taken at The Westgate Museum in October 2011.
Looking through the Westgate Museum's Medieval gate, the last remaining one in the city, at the the top of Winchester High Street.
Situated at the top of High Street the museum is easy to find and a great family friendly place to spend a few hours during your trip to Winchester. The museum offers activities for children to keep them occupied.
Admission is free and the museum is open during the weekends to visitors wishing to immerse themselves in the rich Tudor and Stuart age history.
Note: There is a steep staircase from the street entrance and as the building is very old there is unfortunately no wheelchair access available.
