I like to be in America
The classic play West Side Story opened at the Alexandra Theatre this week. If you're not a fan of theatre, this will change your mind; set in New York's Upper Side Side, the narrative is one of intrigue into how the gypsies of New York lived.

West Side Story

Granted, West Side Story is a fictitious book by Arthur Laurents, it is a fun and imaginary look at how things may have been, if in a slightly fantastic way, but it is a show after all.

Nonetheless, the production at Alexandra Theatre has a new cast who perform with as much vigour as you'd expect. Based on on the original by Jerome Robbins, ticket are selling fast. If you've seen the film, I'm sure you can understand why.

Buy tickets online for £17.90 or £48.90 (depending on where you're sat). Note, there's a £4.00 transaction fee.
