West Hampstead is the latest location to be added to London Farmers' Markets list of markets. Located outside the newly refurbished Thameslink station off West End Lane, this bijou market, open every Saturday from 10am until 2pm, is a welcome addition to this already lively area, with its plethora of shops, cafes and restaurants.
All manner of food stuffs are available at the West Hampstead Farmers' Market, from producers approved by the National Farmers' Retail & Markets Association, located within 100 miles of the M25. Whether you're looking to pick up something for lunch or for Sunday dinner, there is plenty to choose from.
Foods available to buy include speciality cheeses and cold meats, prime cuts of beef, pork and chicken, organic vegetables and salad leaves, home-produced fruit juices, chutneys and preserves, many varieties of bread, and cakes to die for. And if you're feeling peckish and can't wait to go home to make yourself something, there is a stall selling delicious venison burgers.
As well as being adjacent to the West Hampstead Thameslink station, the farmers' market is a few minutes' walk from West Hampstead underground station, on the Jubilee line, and West Hampstead overground station.
