10 Ways To Move Into Action For Kids

Action for Kids was founded in 1991; the charitable organisation helps transform the lives of helping transform the lives of young people with physical and learning disabilities by providing mobility equipment, learning, training, and support. They give family support, run a work related learning program, and aim to make it possible to lead independent lives.
So Action for Kids can act, they need you to be active by taking in part in their fundraising events. If you are looking for fun, excitement, or something challenging, here are ten ways you can move into action for Kids:
1.
Beach Volleyball Championships
30th June - 18th July
Registration for this event has already ended, but you can still attend and root for the teams. The
Beach Volleyball Championships are take place between the 30th June - 18th July at Wood Wharf. On the 5th & 6th July, they will also be hosting the professional
Sideout tournament, where you can watch eight men and women's teams compete.

Thames Path Challenge
13th & 14th September, £30 - £60
Walk or run one of the UK's most loved national trails for the
Thames Path Challenge . Choose between four different routes of either 25km, 50km, or 100km, and finish off with a barbecue to celebrate.

Fright Hike

Are you brave enough to go on a 30km spooky
Fright Hike through Epping Forest? Visit ghostly sites like Hangman's Hill, where three witches were hanged, and the grounds of highwayman, Dick Turpin.

London to Paris Cycle Ride
30th July, 3rd Sept, 13th May 2015, 10th June 2015, £149
Take a trip across the channel with bike in tow, and cycle through beautiful countryside through England and France in the
London to Paris Cycle Ride .

L' Etape du Tour
20th July
Not a fan of Paris? How about the Pyrenees?
L'Etape du Tour replicates stage eighteen of the Tour de France. It is free to enter, but you are expected to raise £1000.

Ride London

Don't fancy going abroad? Just as challenging will be the RideLondon 100. 100km through the capital's streets. Registration is open for next year's event, but the dates have not bee announced yet.

London Duathlon

Run and Ride through Richmond Park, and choose between five distances from Super Sprint to Ultra in the
London Duathlon .

Royal Parks Half & Ultra Marathon
12th October, £30 - £50
Run through four scenic parks, starting from Hyde park, and complete either a half or full marathon in the
Royal Parks Half & Ultra Marathon .
9. Zip Slide UK
4th & 5th October, £35 - £45
Ever thought about zip sliding down the Imperial War Museum? No? How about now?
Zip Slide UK will give you that opportunity, and at the same time you can raise money for charity.

Skydiving
If you have ever wanted to
skydive , but couldn't afford the booking, here is a way to not only get that lifetime experience for free, but also raise money for doing it. There is no set date, so pick a time that suits you.
