The Nation's Fuelling Station

When you hear the words food and train station together in the same sentence, your first thoughts are probably of a convenience store that you buy a sandwich from on your way to work. It is hardly something to get excited about.

But that ihas changed now that Waterloo is holding its annual food festival: cocktails, street food, cooking demonstrations, and two-for-one offers.

The Waterloo Quarter Food Festival is in its fifth year, and for the first time, businesses inside Waterloo Station will be joining in the fun, and fuelling commuters with more than just a packed lunch. The Lower Marsh Market will also make is debut, and join regular attendees, such as Greensmiths supermarket, Cubana restaurant, and The Stage Door Pub .

Many of the participating businesses have special offers, including buy one get one free, discount drinks, and free side salads. To get these deals, simply print of a festival token and hand it in when you order.

If you are a real food enthusiast then you can keep up with all the latest news by downloading the festival's free app.
