G'day To Revamped Sports & Late Bar In Broad Street
Birmingham's only Australian themed bar has reopened after a £450,000 refresh.

Walkabout, in Broad Street, has been brought up to date with a Reef Bar, where huge linked screens show a coral reef and beaches to make revellers feel as though they are in the Pacific Ocean.

A brand new pie shop has been added too, which will serve award-winning 'Pieminister' pies to sports fans on match days.

The bar reopened on Australia Day (January 26) in 2016 after a refurbishment and included a new food and drinks menu that has craft beers, wines and jam jar cocktails inspired by the spirit of Australia.

There's also new VIP areas, pre-bookable booths and private areas for parties.

The toilets have been freshened up with bright coloured doors while the plywood walls feature Aussie style graffiti with picture of surfboards and the like.

Walkabout in Birmingham is well known for its party atmosphere and also as a haven for sports fans with big screens airing events like The Ashes, World Cup football matches and a live all night screening of The Superbowl, to name a few.

Most nights of the week have a special offer and theme. Monday Madness offers selected drinks for £2 all night. Tuesday is called Twosdays and has selected drinks for £2 plus free candyfloss, popcorn and beer pong tables.
