Walk London offers a varied network of scenic routes in and around the capital - whether you're planning a pleasant stroll with a stop-off to feed the ducks, stretching your legs in the lunch hour, or up for a longer, more energetic walk.

This weekend of free guided walks on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September is funded by Transport for London.

You could choose to take the seafaring route from Tower Bridge to Greenwich, investigate secret corners around St Paul's or discover 1,000 years of history in Westminster.

Other locations include the Olympic Park, Epping Forest and Canary Wharf. For the more intrepid, there's the eleven mile London Loop, which takes around six hours including a break for lunch - or the ultimate challenge - the 21 mile Green Chain Megawalk.
