Walkers take over London for a weekend of outdoor exploring
On the weekend of January 26 to 27th Walk London will be hosting a Winter Wanders Weekend of over 30 free walks around the city, which have been organised to suit every age, interest, and ability level. These fun sight-seeing tours include a walk around the East End, the Thames, Epping Forest, and the secret places of the city. The event is part of an initiative from the mayor's office to make London the most walk-friendly city in Europe by 2015. The following three walks are a sample of the choices available.
