The 31st of October is when all the ghosts and ghouls come out to play along with a heavy flow of alcohol and loud music, of course I'm talking about Halloween.

I like a variation of music but my usual poison of choice is Metal and Rock, and on a night like Halloween I needed somewhere that would satisfy my music taste and not bow to the generic upbeat dance anthems you hear at every nightclub.

I have been meaning to go to the Metalworks in Angel & Islington for a long time as I had heard of it's amazing metal nights, this event proved to be no different...a spectacular night filled with:

A ball pit
A bouncy castle
A BBQ
4 Floors of different music including 2 live stages
Cage dancers
Suspension
Hoop dancers

Crazy right?Well it was!It opened at 10pm and the night didn't end until 6 am!

A spectacular night that happens every last Friday of every month.

The atmosphere was alive and even when I was separated from my friends I made tons of new ones who were all dressed in amazing costumes and enjoyed the same music as myself.

If you love Metal music there is only one place to go and that is the Voodoo rock events that take place here on the last Friday of every month.

I was in awe at the amount of effort the establishment had gone too and the bar was always accessible enough to purchase your beverages.

An amazing place for all you rockers out there and definitely the place to be on all hallows eve!
