I like pizza, who doesn't? But I only like good pizza. Not pizza which is as limp as out-of-date lettuce, or toppings that consist of tomato, cheese and very little else. Good, thin crust pizza with variety, and even a little creativity, in their toppings. This is why I am happy to tell you about .

I discovered this place on my birthday, and what a present it was - pizza by the slice - and an alcohol licence which allowed me to have beer with my slice (soft drinks and pizza simply don't cut it for me). Styled on those classic New York pizza slices you see in movies, the slice is a generous portion of a 23" thin base pizza, though with the varieties available to you, one slice may not be enough...

The menu is interesting, but slightly redundant for the food, as everything available can be seen in display on top of the counters, you simply point, ask, then sit down and happily wait for your food. The prices won't hit you in the pocket either, as most slices are under £4, and the drinks around Dalston pub prices.

Beer is not the only thing on the menu either, in fact a bit of a specialty of the place is their frozen margarita - great anytime of the year, but especially on a hot summer day. It's worth having a look to see what is stocked in the fridge, as there are some interesting choices to be had.

Before I go, one more recommendation...

If you are a bit of a night owl, and fancy eating on the way home from a night out, rather than going to one - pop in before getting your train or bus, as they have a special pizza - the Full Moon - which they only start to serve after midnight. The place is generally open till around 3am weekends, so why not pop along?
