Birmingham poet laureate Casey Bailey and Sutton Coldfield author and actor Patrick Hayes head the line-up for a free online performance of poetry, storytelling and music.



, an hour-long celebration on Friday 30 April at 8pm, will also feature verse and stories from across the globe as well as turning the spotlight on the campaigning work of Amnesty International.

forms part of Amnesty International's Festival of Social Justice, which includes more than 40 online events, including debates, photography exhibition and film this spring.

Sutton Coldfield Amnesty International Chair Andrew Hindle says: "Our poetry and storytelling events have been hugely successful each year and this spring we are going online – which means people all over the country, and even the world, can join us. We're putting together a fantastic programme which will be fun but also thought-provoking as we highlight social justice and what it means to us."
