The choir freeing people from torture
Voice Box
The Voice Box Choir

What is tuneful, lively, gets people slotting in the pennies, and plays anything from madrigals & musicals to The Beatles? A Juke Box perhaps? Try the Voice Box, a community choir founded in 2004. Far from just singing hymns, in the Voice Box anything goes. It started with just two people, Lesley Morris and Keith Harris, but now has over thirty members who continually raise thousands of pounds for charity all over Oxfordshire.

In their next performance they will be raising money for Freedom from Torture. The concert takes place on 20th April at St Barnabas, Jericho, and because Voice Box embrace so many different musical styles, there will be music in this concert to suit most tastes. There will also be an appearance by special guest poet, Olivia Byard.

Tickets to the concert are 10 or 8 for concessions. You can buy on the door or reserve a spot by calling 01865 510036.
