London Fashion Week is coming to an end for another season, but fashion forward Londoners won't have to wait until September for the next big fashion event to hit town. Vogue, one of the worlds leading authorities in fashion, will be hosting the 2012 Vogue Festival in April this year.
The festival runs over two days, from the 20th-21st of April, with four different sessions for fashionistas to attend. There will be everything from panels and talks, to photo-shoots, films, and makeovers. Models, designers, photographers, and journalists will all be sharing their opinions and their experience.
The program has just been released, so take a look at the sessions on offer.
Day 1 Morning Session (9am till 1.45pm)
In the first session you can listen to Vogue UK editor Alexandra Shulman sit down with designer Christopher Bailey, or Nigella Lawson in conversation with broadcaster Kirsty Young.
My Fashion Life also sees Vogue fashion director Lucinda Chambers, Harrods fashion and beauty director Marigay McKee, and designer Matthew Williamson discuss fashion.
Day 1 Afternoon Session (1.45pm till 6.30pm)
Special guests of the afternoon session include designers Demenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana, and Stealla McCartney. Models and journalists also discuss the question "does fashion have an age limit?"
The final session also includes the panel discussion "Is it all about the Red Carpet?"
This is just the start, with more to be announced as the event gets closer. To get along you can buy tickets online, but try and get in quick because they could sell out fast. The festival is held at the Royal Geographical Society by the Kensington Gardens.
