If it's happening in Lichfield District it's in the guide
An exciting and interesting time awaits people in the Lichfield area of Staffordshire over the coming months and, fortunately, a comprehensive and informative What's On guide has been launched with everything you need to know about what is happening throughout the autumn and winter. Lichfield District Council's visitor economy team, Visit Lichfield, has put the finishing touches to its new What's On brochure, which is described as the essential guide for events in Lichfield district. The brochure is available online and at heritage venues across the district, including St Mary's in Market Square, the former church which now houses the city's library and information centre. With listings from September through to the end of December, it is the perfect resource to help people plan what they will be doing for Halloween and Bonfire Night and in the run-up to Christmas.

City venues are planning a wide range of exciting events over the coming weeks and months, including activities and attractions at Beacon Park, Lichfield Cathedral, Erasmus Darwin House, Lichfield's Guildhall, and the Lichfield Garrick theatre. The brochure also lists events that are taking place at venues across the district, such as Drayton Manor Theme Park, the National Memorial Arboretum and The Staffordshire Regiment Museum, as well as Burntwood and Chasetown centres. Councillor Iain Eadie, Cabinet Member for Investment, Economic Growth & Tourism at Lichfield District Council, said: "It is great to see the new What's On events calendar hitting the shelf, as it helps local people and visitors to see all the fantastic local events that are taking place. There is plenty going on across the district this autumn and Christmas, from Halloween storytelling and firework displays to festive carol concerts, shows and markets. Don't forget to pick up your copy of What's On so you don't miss out on any of the events and activities on offer."
