Are you a good runner? Then maybe you could take part in the Virgin London Marathon 2013. The largest race of it's kind, the marathon is the world's biggest fundraising event, and is in support of Coram, the charity that helps give vulnerable children a better chance in life.
The event takes place on the 21st April, but spaces are limited so it is important so book early. It costs £50 to register, and you are expected to raise at least £1700 sponsorship money.
By taking part, you will be helping children like Sarah, Daisy, and Chloe, al of whom were put into foster care after suffering neglect at home. These children and their drug and alcohol addicted parents received the support of Coram, which was made possible by donations and sponsored events like this.
Last year twenty-seven runners raised £50,000 for Coram by taking on a gruelling twenty-six mile course. Elliot Sawford set the record time of three hours and forty-two minutes.
