Time to teca bita vino in

The weather is hot, the people are thirsty. In a city like London, what do you do? Well if you are one of those people who likes wine (of course you are), let me recommend a place that does it ever so well...

Vinoteca is a wine bar with a difference. Already celebrating 9 years since its inception in Farringdon, Vinoteca has grown to incorporate 4 venues, and an online shop. So, what makes them different to the numerous wine bars you can find dotted around the London area, you may wonder? Well, they sell wine by the glass and by the bottle, as you might expect, but they also operate as a wine shop - selling their products at retail prices - bargain.

Should you want to go nibble on something while you are sipping your glass of red or white in the relaxing and comfortable interior of one of the shops -you will happily find that food is available for you to enjoy. It isn't just your ordinary run-of-the-mill cheese straws either...

Taking pride in the fact that they only serve fresh, seasonal produce, you may be pleased to find that each of the locations has its own head chef, who have worked in a number of fine establishments between them, and the Mediterranean influence of the cuisine will match your choice of wine almost perfectly.

In particular, the Vinoteca at Marylebone is well worth a stop-by, with over 285 wines to choose from, and everything from substantial mains to cheeses from Neal's Yard to accompany - you may as well make yourself comfortable as you will probably be staying a while.

So, come for the wine, maybe try a couple of different glasses, eat yourself happy, and then take home a very reasonably priced bottle of your favourite choice - job done - now what could sound better than that?
