The shop that acts like a museum to your youth

This shop is simply one of my favourites in London - because it is one of those shops that is totally different to everything else, and the fact that it even exists is amazing. In a world where people seem to use technology for everything, isn't it wonderful that there is a shop which sells predominantly old magazines?

VinMag does this and much more. In a store where fans of tv and movie memorabilia are handsomely catered for, expect to find all kinds of treats that will catch your eye (or gifts for those difficult to buy for people).

VinMag specialises in magazines, true, but you can find all kinds of things here to tempt and delight you - movie postcards, posters, t-shirts - even large character card cutouts (of the kind you see promoting movies in cinemas).

Should you want something a bit quirkier, you can find t-shirts offering everything from the face that used to appear on the front of Bazooka Joe bubble gum (remember that?), to retro images of the A-Team.

Apart from this check out some of the goods on the shelves - some of my favourite gift presents have come from here - The Shining coasters being a current fave, with the famous typewriter print all across them.

To put it simply, this isn't a shop - it's more a museum of cool stuff from your youth, and even better, everything is on sale. If that isn't enough to tempt you to buy your own Oscar, film director's chair, or Dali mouse mat, well we just can't be friends...
