For a world class performance you need world class singers, and that is exactly what you're getting at Vienna to Broadway, an operatic concert sung by Prima Voce. The name of this ensemble comes from Italian, and means 'voice first'. It is an axiom they stick by, and is the reason for their world class status. Chris Squires, Kathleen Wilkinson, John Morgan, Andrew Rees, Julie Unwin are famous voices from the Royal Opera House, and will be sharing the stage with operatic tenor, Bonaventura Bottone, in their latest concert, Vienna to Broadway.
The show will be performed at 7.30pm both at Fairfield Halls in Croydon on the 21st June, and the Alban Arena on the 22nd June. Tickets cost between £15-£25.
The programme will take you on a musical journey, starting with operas by mozart and moving on to operettas by Lehar and Strauss. Finally, experience the magic of musicals with songs from West End shows such as Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, and West Side Story.
