The thought of hog roasts can put vegetarians and vegans off visiting the Christmas markets as it can seem like there is nothing aimed at people living a cruelty free lifestyle.
However this year every one living a vegan lifestyle has had their Christmas wish come true with a Vegan Christmas Market being held in Altrincham. Located at Altrincham Football Club, the event has been organised by Nicely Kitchen, which is a vegan bakery.
This event shows how popular the vegan lifestyle is becoming and it is nice for everyone to be able to find some unique, cruelty free gifts. There are some exciting companies trading at the event including The Vegan Pizza Co, A Kind Mama and Pimpin' Pancakes. There will also be a vegan friendly bar. Why not visit and treat yourself and your loved ones to some cosmetics, skincare, jewellery and food, all cruelty free of course.
The Market is at Altrincham football club on Sunday 11th December, between 12-6pm. Entry to the event is only £3 with under 12's being free. A percentage of the profits is going to The Dogs 4 Rescue charity, meaning you can really get into the Christmas spirit by supporting a great cause. Perfect for a spot of Christmas shopping and a weekend day trip, the venue is easily located via rail or tram and Altrincham is a great place to visit when the city centre Christmas crowds get too much. This is set to be an amazing event, add it to your diary and come support a great cause and see what a vegan Christmas is all about.
