Dust off those dancing shoes and get ready to boogie like it's 1945, because we're throwing the ultimate to mark a solid 80 years since Europe decided it was time to hang up the war boots. On that fateful day in May, streets were filled with cheers, and now it's your turn to channel that spirit. Join us for a night of dance, laughter, and perhaps too much enthusiasm in your swing moves.

Whether you're as graceful as a swan or more of a flailing duck on the dance floor, SwingdanceUK has got your back. They'll take you through some nifty footwork, from the energetic Lindy Hop to the quirky Jitterbug. And if live music from the South London Jazz Orchestra and dazzling cabaret from the Diamond Girls doesn't turn you into a dancing legend, we don't know what will. Need to look the part? Pretty Me Vintage will be working their magic on hair and makeup, so you can step out looking like you just strolled off a 1940s film set. And let's not forget, our café will be dishing out warm bites and cool drinks to keep you fuelled up for all that dancing. It's all part of the National Army Museum's VE Day celebrations, so come along and show those 40s vibes how it's done.
