Vincent van Gogh is one of the most famous artists in the world, yet he had a relatively short career spanning only ten years. Some of his most important works in that period comes from the two years he spent in Paris between 1886-1888. During this time, there was a shift in Van Gogh's style; he moved away from sombre greys and started painting in bright colours. It is these paintings which have become most well known today, and these paintings which Eykyn Maclean have decided to showcase at their gallery on St. George Street.
