Does your brain rumble more than your tummy? Is your hunger for knowledge exceed your time constraints and the lining of your wallet? What you need is Brain Food. A series of free lunch time lectures held by University College London. The programme offers you access to their vast branch of research in bite size chunks. It is open to the entire public, not just students There is also no need to book, meaning if you have a busy schedule, there's no worries about making commitments. Just turn up on the day. All lectures start at 1.15pm.
The lectures cover a wide range of interesting topics, from the
Science of Laughter on the 8th October, to the
poetic nature of rap on the 10th October. You can also learn about more conventional areas of discussion such as
Global Growth vs Human Health ,
Patterns of Nature , and
Sexual Orientation in the Middle Ages . For a full list, check out their

Aside from lectures, Brain Food also offers family activities and workshops. Thee need booking, but are well worth it. For example, you'll be able to
explore zoology , go on a
scuba diving trip , and learn about
3D scanning .
