Explore Music Beyond Our Seas

There is no other orchestra quite so diverse as the Grand Union Orchestra. The organisation bring together the best musicians from all over the world to create original music and live shows.

On the 1st & 2nd November they will be performing at Hackney Empire with their most ambitious project to date. Undream'd Shores celebrate London's rich multicultural heritage by inviting nearly a hundred artists from different backgrounds to participate in an eclectic show.

Combining music, song, and visual images the concert will tell a global narrative about the creative power of migration in the modern world. From Asia to Africa and from Classical to Jazz Undream'd Shores covers all cultural realms of music. Tickets are 6 - 12 and is suitable for anyone eight or over.

For younger children, the Grand Union Orchestra will also be holding a day of family events, which involves getting hands on with world instruments
