Come Friday and the Metropole Orchestra will be turning your tweets into a wicked rhythm. Tweetphony, that's what the guys who came up with this innovative idea are calling it.

Heavy under budget cuts, the Amsterdam based jazz and pop orchestra is trying to woo the masses by playing back their tracks in a live Tweetphony this Friday, the 26th.

Twitterati will be in for a special feast as the Orchestra has promised to tweet back a video of the performance to the users who get lucky in having their tunes picked.

Twitter users have already started composing their tracks and some of the hot favourites are the good old Star Wars and MI tunes. The piano like interface has a simple How does it work? button which navigates you through the consoles and helps you tap your fingers creatively and be the next Mozart!

Speculations are running high amongst the creative community, as they are guessing the campaign will turn into an online petition to save the renowned Orchestra. However, it all depends on the response that they get.
