Whether you're just looking for somewhere to enjoy some quiet contemplation or to find a unique Christmas gift for someone special the Winter Exhibition at the Turrill Sculpture Garden is a must.

Step through the Summertown library into a garden, hidden from street view and surrounded by old brick walls and you'll find the Turrill Sculpture Garden. They have regularly changing exhibitions from a variety of Oxford Sculpture's Group members.




There's no charge to view the sculpture's on show and if you're tempted to buy something prices range from £100 upwards.

I visited on a crisp early winter's day with golden leaves nestling around the sculpture's. I really enjoyed wandering around, seeing them in an outdoor setting. As a mum with two young kids, it's not easy to visit exhibitions but the relaxed atmosphere and being outside, meant my little boys could walk around and explore too.




There's a good variety of sculpture's to meet different tastes. Materials range from Bath stone to bronze resin and frostproof stonewear ceramic.



If you'd like the chance to meet the sculptors, you can visit on Saturday 30th November between 2 - 4pm. Enjoy a warming drink and find out what inspires them.
