Situated just a short walk from Salford Centre and a short drive to Manchester City Centre, it was easy to get to whilst being far enough away from the city for a good nights sleep. I booked a double room for one person which cost only £36! This was by far the best deal I came across and was definitely value for money. The room I stayed in had basic supplies like towels, tissues, shampoo and conditioner and soap, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
Each room has Wi-Fi connection and a wide screen TV. Mine was fixed to the wall and hovered above the bed making for relaxing viewing whilst tucked under the covers. The room was clean and modern with a private bathroom and the hotel itself was secured with a pass key for each guest that unlocked their room and also the front door, so you could come and go as you pleased whilst knowing that only paying guests could enter the building. The hotel also has vending machines on site as their on-site cafe is currently being refurbished, so I was able to get snacks and coffee at 3am if I wanted to.
When I arrived the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, providing me with the Wi_Fi information and I was emailed a tourist's guide of Manchester prior to my stay and I even found a few places in there I hadn't been before despite living here my whole life.
The hotel is a two-minute walk from a convenience store in case you've left anything at home or want to use the kettle in your room to make a pot noodle like I did. It is also opposite a takeaway, so you are never far from warm tasty food and a decent price.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoy my stay at Trivelles Hotel on Cross Lane and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel at a good price.
