BBC reporter, Sian Williams says that 'Trinity Hospice does that job of making everyone - patients and families - feel optimistic in a way.And I know that sounds bizarre, but there is an incredible feeling of positivity in a hospice.'
That positivity is created through the quality of care Trinity Hospice gives to those reaching the end of life; 'living every moment', is at the heart of their values. To ensure that quality of care continues, every year, Trinity hold a Star Ball at the amazing
Supernova in the Victoria Embankment Gardens. The ball raises money to fund nurses, who provide care for terminally ill patients and their families.
It is a fabulous event with delicious food, wonderful entertainment, live auctions, and celebrity guests. This year's
Star Ball will be held on the 29th November, and tables can be booked for eight (£1500), ten (£1750), or twelve people (£2000). All food and drinks are included in the ticket price. There are also VIP tables (£2500) available for ten people, which has the added bonus of VIP area to greet your guests on arrival:
Four bottles of Champagne
Ten complimentary photographs
The opportunity for companies to be featured on the screens with mentions throughout the evening, and logo featured on the menu and programme
If you are a business, there are other ways to help as well. For example, you can find out about sponsorship opportunities by calling 020 7787 1022. Trinity is also looking for prizes for its auction, such as theatre tickets, vouchers, and holidays. If you could donate anything, then call 020 7787 1087.
