The Greek poet, Orpheus, could entrance wild beasts with the beauty of his singing and lyre playing. Orpheus Sinfonia hope to entrance you with its dynamic orchestra. Founded in 2008, the organisation supports young musicians; under the artistic direction of Thomas Carroll, it has established itself as one of the most vibrant awe inspiring young orchestras.
You too can be inspired when the Orpheus Orchestra arrive at Trinity Hospice on the 9th July. The mini concert will take place free of charge in Mulberry Place outpatient centre. Relax to beautiful music with a cup of tea and slice of cake, and view of Trinity's award-winning gardens.
Louise Malone, Head of Mulberry Place, says 'we are delighted to welcome the Orpheus Sinfonia to Trinity. It's wonderful to be able to offer patients, families and our local community the opportunity to take a little time out of the everyday and relax. I hope people who do not know much about Trinity take the opportunity to visit us and learn more about our work.'
A specially selected programme will allow guests to not only hear the music, but the stories and inspirations behind them. To book a place, you can phone 020 7787 1046 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
