Yoga is a form of exercise that is good for both body and mind, and whether you are just starting out or are skilled practitioner, you should consider joining Tribe. The collective of Yogi trainers are dotted all over the world, and offer classes not only for beginners, but also to those looking to further advance their skills, and possibly turning towards a new career.
Beginner classes are held at Emerson College in East Sussex for a modest £8 per session or £30 a week. Their next course is between 1st-26th July and requires advanced booking. Monday to Friday classes are 6.15am - 10.00am, and include lessons in asana (posture), pranayama (breathing) & meditation. Then on Sundays, the will be a 'self practice' class from 7am-10am, in which your teacher will guide you through your own self-devised style and rhythm.
If you want to go one step further, then this is where Tribe offer something even more exciting. Anyone who is interested in starting a new career in Yoga can take a teacher training course, with the opportunity to study abroad. You can take Level 1 or Level 2 teacher training course in countries such as India, the UK, Spain, Austria, and Thailand, and learn any number of yoga disciplines. These include yoga The Art of Conscious living, Mudras, Mantras, Kriyas, Chanting, Karma Yoga & Bhakti Yoga.
A daily routine would include activities such as readings, yoga asana, meditation, and pranayama. This would be followed by lectures on theory, methodology, philosophy, and anatomy, as well as group work, learning teaching skills, and chanting.One month courses range between - but there are significant discounts if booked early.
