Ahoy there, landlubbers. Prepare yourselves for a bit of piratical fun as Bristol Old Vic Theatre School presents a fresh take on Treasure Island from November 23 to 30, 2024. This version, penned by Bryony Lavery and directed by the talented Emma Earle, puts you right in the middle of young Jim Hawkins' whirlwind adventure. Our boy Jim has the delightful task of outsmarting the notorious Long John Silver and his motley crew of cutthroats. Will he uncover the island's buried secrets, or will he end up walking the plank?

Tickets are a steal at 15 quid, or 12 if you're packing a concession. It's a brilliant excuse for a family outing, and what better way to kick off the festive season than with treachery, treasure maps, and more pirates than you can shake a wooden leg at? Just remember, no parrots necessary for entry, though they might make the experience more entertaining.
