Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Already the shops have swapped the Christmas themed treats with Valentine presents. How do you spend Valentine's Day? If you and your significant other usually go for a cuddle at the cinema, why not try something slightly different. Instead of going to see a movie, why not a play?

Actually, you could do both, because Tread Softly, a bitter-sweet play by Adrian Drew is not being being shown at the Fan Museum until the 18th February. That means you can celebrate twice. Or if you are one of those types of people who tend to forget, taking your partner to this play might be a good way to redeem yourself if you failed miserably on the 14th.

Tread Softly, which starts at 7.30pm, is a two-hour one act play combining monologue and verse. The absorbing story is a celebration of love in all its complexity. From the joys of first love to the pain of loss, you will experience a kaleidoscope of emotions from passion to longing and regret.

The play is suitable for 16s and overs and costs 12, which includes refreshments and access to the rest of the museum. Tickets sell fast, so booking is essential. You can book by calling 020 8305 1441.
