Are you a keen photographer? Want to get your work noticed? Then why not enter Time Out Magazine's Share Your Now contest ? The contest is your opportunity to get your photography on the front cover of their first March issue. The issue, London: The Greatest City in The World, is due out on the 5th March and as you have probably guessed, is a celebration of England's capital. Time Out is asking for your help, and want you send in pictures of what you love about London. It could be a famous landmark, a bustling marketplace, or even your favourite place to eat. It doesn't matter what the photo is of, but to be in with a chance, they need to fulfil five criteria:

1. Make a Statement

A front cover of a magazine needs to grab the attention of the reader straightaway.

2. Be on the Spot

The composition of a shot is important. Think about the lighting, the colours, and what the image says about the city.

3. Get a Laugh

It doesn't have to be a laugh out loud moment, but it always a good idea to tickle the readers' fancy. Maybe something satirical, or just a blunt truth like in newspaper funnies.

4. Inspire the Reader

It is important to get an emotional response from your reader; something that makes them think 'there might be something in this magazine that I want to do.'

5. Set a Scene

Remember there will need to be text space in your picture so the magazine can inform the reader what is inside.

By entering, you will be put into a weekly prize draw for a chance to win a Galaxy Samsung Camera . Plus the grand prize for the three finalists will include a trip to New York City.
