Thorpe Park is a great and truly insane way to spend a day. However you have to be a fan of having the living daylights scared out of you with the added bonus of lots of junk food otherwise it's not fun.
Thorpe Park is huge and crazy with rides absolutely everywhere you look. There are water rides where the passers-by get soaked if you walk past at the right moment, there are rides where water is paused on you and there are rides where you run around in a large plastic ball in water.
The roller coasters are the piece de resistance though. Colossus is a ten looped rollercoaster which is brilliant because it lasts far longer than the other rides. You also run out of scream periodically (a very peculiar sensation).
There is also the SAW ride, my personal favourite with the sheer vertical drop in blackness; it's incredibly fast but gives you an amazing buzz.
There is also the swarm, which is separated off from the rest of the park. The ride is surrounded by broken down helicopters and ambulances. It is also one of those rides where your feet dangle, truly fabulous.
For me Thorpe Park is a great day, but I love rollercoasters, I recommend it to my fellow lovers because Thorpe Park is not for the faint-hearted!
