Oddsocks Productions present the Wizard of Oz , the well known tale of Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Lion on their quest to find the Wizard who can grant their greatest desires. Like all Oddsocks Productions, the performances is injected with their personal brand of comedy that brings a new twist and a hint of absurdity to L. Frank Baum's classic tale.



Oddsocks Productions was formed in 1989 by Andy Barrow and Elli Mackenzie , a husband and wife team that had met at drama school. They combined classic theatre with elements clowning, to develop their style of theatre where they weren't afraid to have a bit of fun with the productions they tackled. Andy & Elli are still deeply involved with Oddsocks, working as the artistic director and creative producer of the company, they're now joined by ballet dancer Megan Smith as the assistant producer as well as a host of enthusiastic actors and performers.

The Wizard of Oz will be premiering it's tour on January 1st at Bridge House Theatre in Warwick and will continue from there, playing The Lights in Andover on January 11th for a matinee and evening performance. Tickets can be purchased online from wizard of oz&f=&t= the Lights website or by calling the box office on 01264 368368. Andover is about 30 miles north of Southampton, take the M3 out of Southampton and then turn off at the A3 and then the A303 to make your way there.
