What would you expect from a pub/ club literally named after the area in which it is located? How about if I tell you that that area was called Shoreditch?
You may have your own opinions about the place, maybe from living in London, or hearing about the area from your friends - you may even feel that if you don't have the right angle of angular haircut, forget even trying to get in, well actually
The Shoreditch isn't as exclusively trendy as you may think - in fact it is quite accessible and friendly. The theme of the bar is kind of futuristic disco/ dance - with the decor reflecting to some extent, though not exclusively, the music policy.
The thing to go for here has to be the
cocktails. You have quite a variety to chose from, including new ones (Dead Goldfish), classics (Eastend Sour), and fresh takes on the Caipirinha (the Coconut Caipirinha), and the Mai Tai (Velvet Mai Tai) too. What could be better - well, how about the two cocktails for £10 offer until 10pm each night?
Now that I have your attention - you probably want to know more - well, they also have
food, which is available during daytime and early evening hours. Then there is the music. It is when day gracefully becomes night that this venue comes into its own.
The venue is primarily based around
clubbing, so when the djs come out to play, so do all the boys and girls of ol' Shoreditch town. In a typical week you can expect to hear everything from jazz to funk, electro to classics, with DJs keeping things going till 2am practically every night of the week.
So, should you want to party with the trendy people - pick out your favourite mismatched clothing and head on down to the place where everyone knows its name...
