To paraphrase Dorothy: 'There is no place like London.' I hope I can convince you of that here. Also check out my blog at damselwithadulcimer.wordpress.com and my theatre reviews at www.playstosee.com

The Back Row at the Movies and Up on the Roof in London

The Americans may have drive in movies, but we Londoners have the Rooftop Film Club. This is actually three different venues that are spread across three locations: The Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch and Netil House in London Fields, both to the east of London, and the Roof Gardens above Kensington High Street, to the west.

All three rooftops will be screening a mixture of classic, cut and recent films starting at the beginning of May and continuing until the end of September. You will be able to relax in comfy chairs, listen through high quality headphones and spoil yourself with food and drinks. Ponchos will be available in case of rain, but you are otherwise advised to wear warm clothing and perhaps bring a cosy blanket if the weather is a little on the chilly side.

Each location has a different choice of movies with information and electronic tickets available through the website. And if you get bored with the film, you can always enjoy the views over London.
