Think classy American dinner. Think high class cocktails, all the trimmings. Think simple, classic food.
Think Roadhouse.
Situated 5 minutes walk from
Covent Garden tube station, and handily just off the main piazza, The Roadhouse is the perfect destination for those of you looking for amazing food, a chilled atmosphere, live music, and the spectacle that goes with top class cocktail makers.
With cocktails £5.20 during happy hour from Monday-Saturday, 5.30-7.30, and a late night happy hour 9.30-10.30 Monday to Thursday, alongside 2-4-1 on drinks during the happy hour Monday-Friday; its location coupled with its drinks deal makes this venue unmissable. Roadhouse prides itself on its incredible mixologists, simple classic food, and its selection of live music; different acts, from bands to DJ's, play every night so keep an eye out for your favourites on their 'What's Going On' tab.

There are dishes to suit every budget with prices ranging from £10-£30 for a main meal . There is also the option of getting a selection of small bites so you can try a variety of dishes; you can get any 3 for £10 or any 5 for £15 ranging from
mini chicken quesadilla to
BBQ chicken wings. I went for the
Blackened Salmon for my main course. At £12.75 the price was reasonable, the portion size was perfect, and the level of Cajun spicing was delicious.
The menu offers so much variety; from sumptuous steaks, to classic fajitas and burgers, and for the spice lovers amongst you the Cajun grills provide the perfect tongue tingling tempters; including the legendary
BBQ big rack and
Peri Peri chicken. There is something for everyone.
The cocktail menu is similarly endless. My personal favourites are their short
passion fruit mojito; a modern twist on the classic mixing rum and soda water with muddled lime, mint, and sugar for the perfect refreshing drink, and their long
Raspberrylicious; a mouth-watering blend of Stolichnaya Razberi vodka, fresh raspberries, delectable Chambord, sharp lemon juice, sugar syrup, topped with lemonade and served over crushed ice (also available as a fishbowl). And those are just my favourites, from Martini's, classic and twisted, to Margaritas, fresh fruit Daiquiris and endless Ice Tea's, there is a drink for every palate. Alongside the cocktails there is a range of unusual shots and bombs alongside an extensive wine and beer menu.
