I cannot sing
The Quilted Llama's praises highly enough. This characteristic little restaurant and bar is the perfect place to take new friends (as I found out), or even to go by yourself to catch up on work or University assignments.
Situated in the back of
Halo Nightclub, the layout of the restaurant still has the charm of the former church it resides in, but the atmosphere is contemporary and welcoming. For hungry students, it's also a haven food-wise, as most dishes are below £8; don't be put off though, the low cost does
not make for disappointing food, quite the opposite in fact.
My two friends had a pizza and a goat's cheese flat-bread, while I treated myself to a chili con carne pot with pitta bread. With drinks, the three of us spent under £10 each.
