Leading Men From The West End Combine Classical With Pop
Leading men from London's famous West End theatre are taking their combined singing talents on the road as part of a much-anticipated UK tour. Under the collective name of The Opera Boys the West End stars will be delivering their classical crossover style to audiences throughout the UK, including a performance at the Lichfield Garrick theatre on May 20.
The leading West End vocal performers combine to deliver a stunning blend of music ranging from opera to pop, and with almost everything else in between. Operatic arias and classical favourites such as 'Nessun Dorma' and 'Time to Say Goodbye' are mixed in with musical showstoppers from 'Les Miserables' and 'Phantom' right through to 'Jersey Boys' as well as modern day pop hits.
The Opera Boys are a small, first-class group of opera singers whose voices have been classically trained by London's Royal Academy of Music. Over the last few years they have performed more than a thousand concerts to tens of thousands of delighted audience members worldwide while, individually, they have performed lead roles on London's West End and on Broadway in New York. In addition, members of The Opera Boys have also performed as backing vocalists for many big name stars including Tom Jones, Elton John and Russell Watson. Collectively, The Opera Boys produce spectacular close part harmony with the help of excellent vocal arrangements. It promises to be a wonderfully entertaining show not to be missed.
